We Are
The Friends of the Macungie Institute is a non-profit organization established in 2012 to support the Macungie Institute. Our mission is to help provide financial, volunteer and intellectual support toward the goal of maintaining the most efficient and effective utilization of the community center.
The “Friends of Macungie Institute” organization has received tax exempt status under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue code. Contributions to the “Friends” are deductible under section 170 of the Code. The “Friends” are qualified to receive tax deductible bequest, devises, transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code. The “Friends” have been classified as a public charity.

Board Meetings are held usually held at the Macungie Institute, at 3:30 pm (see dates above). All members are welcome to attend.

Since 2012, the Friends of the Macungie Institute have donated/pledged over $33,000.00 for the direct benefit of the Macungie Institute.
